You better make room on your calendar from 10 am to 11 am PST on December 15th because you’re invited to join experts from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration for a twitter chat on underage drinking prevention. A twitter chat is a live Twitter event, focused around a general topic which you can find by searching for a particular hashtag. In this case, it’s #NotBefore21.
During the chat, we will discuss the reasons why young people are more likely to start using alcohol during the holidays. More important, we will discuss steps that parents and other caring adults can take to reduce the risk that underage youth and young adults might drink.
